Like I said, I have yet to see a good reason for all the hate this episode gets. I guess Rainbows ego is far more important than the lives she failed to save because of her ego. Let me guess, if they talked to her, everything would be all right? Remember when they tried to talk to AJ? Notice how things excelled to worse and worse situations in that episode? What do you think would happen if they tried to talk to RD (somepony who’s even more stubborn than AJ) while lives were on the line? Really, I’ve yet to see a reason that wasn’t biased and full of bawww~ to dislike it.
 
Of course ponies are going to treat Fluttershy like that. Did you think Angel was the only one? People walk all over characters like Fluttershy, it’s a fact. By the way, what they did in the market place? That’s called “haggling.” That’s what you do in those types of market places. Look this stuff up, it’s very common.
 
I would love to see an episode with Iron and Roid like that. That would be awesome.

Dude, I am NOT going to start a argument over the morality over Mare Do Well, We both know that we’re not going to convince either, because we have different concepts of right and wrong and how much the ends justify the means. And that’s not getting into the flaws of characterization alone.
 
My problem is that Ponyville was never shown as cutthroat as this before, all of sudden everyone is acting like a huge dick, Rarity and Pinkie Pie included, what with cheating people out of their property with mind games.
 
Iron Will IS awesome, however, he should team up with Roid Rage and go solve crimes.

Spike get’s sleepy at night (something that was established before hand) and the owl is nocturnal. What’s not to get? Besides, Twilight needed a pet because people started to think that Spike was the pet.
 
The need for MDW is immensely simple. If it wasn’t anonymous, the lesson is no good. The point is that the action is more important than the person, which is what Dash forgot. There was no cruelty or malice in their actions, they praised someone else, all within the confines of their own skill sets, and they made sure to reveal their deception in a back alley to spare Dash’s reputation. I have yet to see a good reason for all the hate this episode gets. How else would the Mane 6 have told her to quit the boasting?  
If they all did heroic acts in the open, one by one, Dash will either see this as an annoyance or as a “I can save more ponies than you guys can” friendly challenge. There had to be this force that surpassed her in every way. That there was an “individual” that was better than her.
 
You mean ponies treating a door mat like a door mat? Besides, it’s a 22 minute show, what do you expect. Iron Will is awesome, though.

It happens almost every time. How do you not know this?

OWEW - A kind of plot that I hate, The new guy who’s superior to an estabilished character in every way, the ending felt rubbish (Owlolicious just helps me during the night! That’s why he’s been helping me 24/7 and even better than you!), and that godamn Owl gets on my nerves… Plus, I like Spike.
 
MMDW - The screwy morality of the episode, that’s all I’ll say, lest I start a huge rant.
 
PYHD - The episode just felt… mean, and rushed, Fluttershy went from nice to Flutterbitch in a milisecond, and everyone was just a plain dick… Iron Will was awesome though.

Mysterious Mare Do Well is the only episode I don’t like of them all. Putting Your Hoof Down comes close, but Iron Will and those goats are just too good.
 
To Williams’ credit, I really enjoyed Dragon Quest and especially Hearth’s Warming Eve.
