Nobody does, but no one is beyond hope either. Yes, he's got a brutal path ahead of him full to becoming the pony Celestia and others know he can be, but he can do it. I want to see that story told.

And in this sort of circumstance, ignorance usually translates into conditioning, because this sort of willful ignorance tends to be the result of conditioning. And conditioning is a Hell of a lot harder to overcome than mere envy. Because conditioning directly effects ones sense of identity. And nobody likes questioning their identity.
