See, this is what I was just talking about. This right here is what you should expect to happen when you hit a monarch. (Or would that be diarch now that Luna’s back?)
She just want’s to be loved, it’s the reason why she chooses not to fight back, even though she can annihilate whoever hit her. But she chooses to just rather put up with the beatings and humiliation as much as she can just to get love. She’s so desperate to be loved that she’ll deal with as much pain as possible for even the slighest shred of compassion. God that is soo sad, i just wanna hug her forever!

[BKG PONY #D1E0] Well, I guess thats a different story then, but those guys are just assholes/trolls to begin with, I wouldn’t take them too seriously. But I still do find these derpessing pics beautiful though.
Its almost as if she feels like she’s intimidating just because she’s a powerful princess but all she wants to do is to be loved like a normal pony, but her intimidation & power drives people away…
…oh gawd, this picture broke my fucking heart, I feel as if i can truly feel her pain, like she feels she’s worthless and unworthy of love…. Yet strangely, I find these depressing pictures beautiful, because it depicts these ponies with real, beautiful emotion, and makes you want to love them and care for them, and overall appreciate them.
Its the reason why I get a little irritated when people bitch about pictures like this because they’re not happy, its such a cliched concept, not that I don’t love seeing ponies happy, but just seeing them happy all the time does get a little cliche’d from time to time.

Yeah, these are often a bit painful unless either there’s either a gag in the format, or it’s one of the ones like Rainbow Dash’s, where it’s not the waifu who ultimately winds up being hurt.
I’m pretty sure if you hit Celestia (or Luna, for that matter), you’d get arrested for assaulting a head of state. The guard ponies should be able to handle that much at least, or there’d be no point in keeping them around.
