Yep, what happened was that Miki found out that Godzilla actually has psychic powers, at least a degree of telepathy, and when she contacted him that way, the “loud volume” of his telepathic voice knocked Miki out and she was a space cadet for most of the movie after that.

Oh, and he didn’t go after the offshore oil rig that she and her friends were on.

Godzilla was shot twice.

  1. The Black Hole erupted in front of him, but he wasn’t devoured by it as he should have been (it was a close enough range to do so).

  2. He used his Atomic Breath to neutralize the Black Hole (must have quite the Power to do so).

Funny thing is, the JSDF had a psychic gal try to mind-whammy Big G back in the bygone days of 1989 (Godzilla vs. Biollante). Didn’t work, but he was polite enough to let her survive & pop up in later films.

Not really. People seem to forget that Sherman’s vulnerability to magic depends on the TYPE of magic, and what it is meant to do. I.e. he’s more resistant to attack magic-or something like a cockatrice’s stare-than, say, being turned into a toad. That’s why he can go toe-to-toe with guys like Captain Marvel or Zeus without being KO’d instantly: magic being used to cause direct harm-which petrification definitely counts as, considering that past a certain point its irreversible and thus lethal-affects him much less. I agree that Superman could beat Godzilla, however; I just don’t agree with your progression of logic.

No, that’s one I haven’t seen, admittedly. But there’s a difference between ‘blowing up a mini black hole fired at him’ and ‘tanking black holes’.

One implies he recognised a threat that could do significant damage and dealt with it. The other suggests he simply shrugged it off. I would be a lot more willing to accept the former over the later.

Mini black holes, still impressive mind you.

Then again there’s the Luna,Celestia and the Mane Six(- Rarity) somehow managed to move the moon with a rope.
There’s that

I agree. I mean, Godzilla’s tough. Real tough. Takes a lot to put him down, and even then it’s almost impossible to make him stay down. Your best solution is to put him to sleep and do your damndest to make sure nothing wakes him up.

But tank black holes? Now you’re dipping into Mary Sue territory.

I think it really depends on which Godzilla we’re dealing with here. Sometimes he’s just passing through, but due to his sheer size he can’t help but cause chaos and ruin. Might even help out against something meaner than he is. That version of Godzilla would probably just ignore Flutters and carry on his merry way.

Other times, he’s just out to cause as much death and destruction as he can. That version would probably ignore Flutters anyway, even if she did use the Stare. Then we can happily call out the Wonderbolts, followed by the Mane Six and when all else fails, call on Discord.

Oh, crazy thought. Maybe he’ll be the super-nice Godzilla from that old 80’s cartoon. Know the one? “Rising from the depths,” etc, etc?
