So in all of those alternate universe things shown so far ,I do wonder about some things…  
Are the Diamond dogs in the caves near Poniville honest construction workers(/excavation crew)?  
Did this universes Luna have a reverse NM phase?  
Who takes care of the sun and moon?  
Is Blueblood likeable in this universe?

it also explains why they did not use the elements on him. the disparity between celestia and luna was far too great for them to use it at the time.
 
though it makes me wonder why alt luna turned evil. did celestia do something to her, or is it because of the dimensions being far too close that forced her to become evil or something, and it influenced her against her will?  
or maybe sombra and luna were a couple and they had a falling out, who knows.

The comic is a mirror universe. The show is the prime universe, less pandering and more fun

There’s some stuff that works, and other stuff that doesn’t. “Not being able to do it in the show” hasn’t created many good things, just really weird ones.
