I love how strongly they’re pushing us not to think about anything the characters are going over.

Love struck makes anyone stupid, no exceptions.  
Seriously, give me one character that went love struck (somewhat creepy level) and still was in character.

This love struck version of Fluttershy bugs me. She is extremely shy and deathly afraid of embarrassment but suddenly okay with approaching someone with hearts, wide eyes and touching them with her hooves. I don’t see it, it would not happen.
 
Fluttershy should be doing everything to make her crush less noticeable, not broadcasting it.

Always tjought Fluttershy seemed old and stiff.

As far as we know, she’s a year older than Pinkie. (She said so herself in Griffon the Brush Off when Pinkie was being condescending to her at the party). It’s the only thing we know about any of the ponies’ ages, actually.

Does it mean Shy is the oldest among main six?
