I don’t think he’s much of a Sonic fan honestly, aside from the old cartoons/comics. I’m not sure if he’s that into the games.
 
To be fair “Knuckles Chaotix” is a pretty obscure game, and it’s one of the few old Sonic games that never ever got rereleased. (Except on the GameTap service.)  
I heard they were going to include it in 2005’s “Sonic Gems Collection,” (explains why they had an entire page of artwork for it) but were having trouble porting/emulating it for some reason.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw his comment. I think its clear he never heard of Knuckles Chaotix or even saw Sonic Boom videos or interviews that mentioned the tether mechanic.

That’s kinda a funny thing to be complaining about, because wasn’t that based off the tether from the obscure “Knuckles Chaotix” game? (Which was used to keep both players on screen at the same time.) So it’s not exactly a “new” concept, and it might be beneficial to the game.

Well, keep in mind he tried to use “Luna Eclipsed” as an “example” of how “bad the show got” sense Lauren Faust left, and ironically, later during a Q&A session, she said she had a large hand in that episode. (So ironic!)

Yeah, alot of his fans feel he’s getting to negative about everything. Like he bitched about the Sonic Boom redesigns, (saying they’re “ripping off TMNT” with the athletic tape, and such) so he’s not just “complaining about shows he doesn’t watch,” but even ones that aren’t out yet.
 
Also, he bashed the new Nick TMNT, just because in the first episode the turtles didn’t know what pizza was, dispite owning a TV set, and said the whole show was ruined/crap for that one moment… (Seriously, the guy really lets minor things bug him.) He later took that statement back, after watching a few more episodes, and admitted the show was good surprisingly.
 
(Keep in mind, this is THE GUY who actually defended the campy 1993 “Super Mario Bros.” movie.)

Great point, however I have no intention of ever watching one of his videos again. Again, not even because of this, but because this is how he acts about /everything/ these days.

She didn’t leave to “pursue her own goals”. She said that she was losing close creative control of the show, among other problems.

She wasn’t forced by any means, but she’s implied that she joined the show for the amount of creative freedom Hasbro gave her and left because she saw them tightening the noose with no intention of stopping. She still loves her bronies, her characters, and her show, but knowing it’s not hers anymore and she’s helpless to stop any twisting of her ideas must hurt somewhat.

Well, I don’t think she was forced to leave. She wanted to pursue her own goals and left to focus on those. like CR said before he turned into a total bitch; she left the show in good hands. Even though S3 was short it still had a lot of memorable moments.

Kinda funny, but, as Tara Strong mentioned, Lauren still gets sad whenever the topic of ponies if brought up.

I never got why some were so bent over Shining Armor being Twilight’s brother. It’s not like any previous episode stated she had no other siblings, or even showed her childhood besides briefly in “Cutie-Mark Chronicles.” It also doesn’t really contridict her “orgin” of not understanding “the true power of friendship.”  
Just ‘cause she didn’t understand “true friendship” as a filly, or prior to moving to Ponyville, doesn’t mean she was a hermit her whole life, and never interacted with any other ponies. (Heck, even at the beginning of the first episode some ponies were trying to invite her to a party, so apparently she had some “aquaintances.”)
 
Plus, “relatives,” and an older “babysitter” she didn’t really keep in contact with don’t really seem to count as “best friends.”
 
Heck, they didn’t reveal Sweetie Belle was Rarity’s sister until near the end of Season 1, and didn’t confirm she had parents until Season 2. Yet, nobody complains that those things “came out of nowhere.”  
(Heck Scootaloo STILL doesn’t have parents, but a recent episode shows she has a “room,” and isn’t homeless.)
 
I will admit Maud Pie kinda came out of nowhere though, but I kinda like her, so I’ll let that slide. …Rocks.
