He could also be overprotective if he and Twilight went sent on a mission together. Maybe a diplomacy mission to another country?
 
Shining wants to hold her hoof and Twilight wants to show her independence. Granted, she’s saved his tail several times over, yet I’d still like to see something like that.

Yeah, i would also like to see some overprotective Shiny in MLP. But that would mean a love interest for Twi which would cause another storm in the fandom. Either because people got used to Flash Sentry as “love interest” of Twi or because they can’t accept any just like with Sentry. XD

Finally! I love seeing overprotective Shining Armor, it really makes me wish that the show would do an episode about he and Twilight as youths.
