Aaannnd the environmental breakdown rate of these mysterious chemicals which you failed to identify? The specific toxicity? The ppm concentration at which the EPA and/or FDA considers them to be toxic vs. the ppm found in surface water? The concentrations which actually reach the water table? Why, the tannins realeased by a single live oak could kill you stone dead!…if you collected them for an entire year and drank them all at once.
Surprise, PSEUDOSCIENCE!
Aw I liked him. He reminded me of my grandpa.
Yes. Ronald Reagan.
Do you know who he’s referring to?
And dishonest! Don’t forget dishonest!
OK, what kind of pollutants? Do they differ from industrial pollutants?
But if trees were secreting these chemicals into the water constantly for hundreds of millions of years, then wouldn’t the massive growth of Forrest until about the eighteenth century mean that such chemicals, even if they were dissipating in long terms(many centuries to dissipate) wouldn’t all life have evolved to work with them, similar to oxygen which was once another pollutant by trees that life evolved to use.
That’s assuming chemicals don’t dissipate over time.
But haven’t trees existed for hundreds of millions of years,if these chemicals are so bad wouldn’t our world be a cesspool of filth by now?
It’s produce that is polluting the environment.
With good reason. ‘Facepalm’ Thank you Ronnie for putting the U.S back a few hundred years…
If anything, it’s more dishonest.
It’s not much better than that.
I kinda imagined a person yelling that when they protest against road taxes or don’t want to use public transportation while people are generally encouraged to do so.
How?
Well, I had that question about evolution before I heard a good explanation.
Ohhhh…
Thank goodness, at least it has a toe dipped in actual science. The rest lies on possibly deliberate misinterpretation and omission of numerous contributing factors, but I was worried about something on par with “if evolution turned monkeys into men, then why are there still monkeys?”
It’d rather not…
