Yes. Link. However, it has almost 6100 pages of images whereas Derpi has over 95000 and Bronibooru rarely gets comments. The forum is also not really Bronibooru’s, either; it’s The Round Stable.

Ponibooru didn’t last very long but it was the site Bronies tended to go to. There’s also Bronibooru, I think but I barely ever went there.

Ponibooru is, as I understand it, the predecessor to this site. Due to various issues, it shut down, and Derpibooru took its place.

But yeah. I share the same sentiment. It was fun. A few images became the centers of the community. There were no forums and such.

it certainly was an interesting site to get around, but even with all its flaws and the somewhat toxic comment section I still have a nostalgic spot for it, I remember it being one of the first pony websites I found after joining the fandom and man was it a mess haha
 
if only I had set up a derpi account after it shut down to get that badge, I had no idea it existed until I saw it on your account aha

The images weren’t imported either. The Ponibooru expats and Derpi users here had to pick and reupload many of the images from there when we moved. And trying to work with a website that literally only worked for 10% of the time wasn’t exactly fun.
 
From what I remembered. The site was scheduled to officially shut down on September of 2012. But the site had issues that caused it to be inaccessible since June of that year.

It was truly a wild place. Had fun there. But the site’s functionality could have been better. However, even that was ironically part of the experience right until the end. Ponibooru’s frequently breakdowns became a meme at one point. Post shit, any shit and see what got through. LOL  
It was a total anarchy.

Well i missed the 6th year memorial of ponibooru’s end by a few days while trying to get this set up but here is the restored ponibooru address that links right to this page, up and live for the rest of time (or as long as derpi lives)

a few days ago i came across an old bookmark that used to lead to the last ever pic uploaded (this) back before it shut down (http://www.ponibooru.org/post/view/199690), the last time i remember using the link it still worked, wow have the years flown by in this fandom, i got such a massive amount of feels i just had to get the domain set up to link here for some old poni feels

It was, I was a member there. It closed pretty early; in 2012, I think? I watched Atryl’s stream when he made this artpiece, I didn’t think at the time that this would be the last image on Ponibooru.

Wow. Didn’t know you could get a badge for being there for Ponibooru. Then again, I don’t remember if I had made an account there instead of browsing anonymously.
