My Little Pony: Friendship is trying to be modest so as not to come across as arrogant when it’s completely and utterly redundant…
 
Don’t you find that you have friends with an incredible talent for something, yet they will never ever say that they can do it so as not to come across as a smarmy person?
 
Well it seems a little pointless for Twilight here because she obviously can sing, doesn’t want people to know she can sing, yet still sings loudly and proudly in private, which isn’t so private when the people on the other side of town can hear you like they were stood in the same room! xD
 
It’s interesting how that one doodle I did of Sunset Shimmer in the recording studio earlier today transformed itself into this. I was rather curious as to what these girls would be like off set, when they’re busy terrorizing the local neighbourhood with their close harmony singing.
 
Also, it brings up an interesting point as well. We know Tara Strong can sing, really quite well actually, but yet Rebecca Shoichet still does all of Twilight’s musical numbers. This strikes me as rather confusing if I’m honest… :S

Chosen because it was the first song that came up on my playlist as I was strumming through my musical collection of early 1980’s British pop nonsense that somehow turns out to be fantastically catchy and great to dance to. :)
