IDK about that. I don’t even understand how photosensitive epileptics even USE the internet, because I know this one girl who got a seizure from watching a local mardi gras parade. The shimmer on the costumes was enough to cause it. Mind you this is Sioux City, Iowa, not New Orleans, so it wasn’t even THAT big and shimmery of festivities. ¯(°_o)/¯ I don’t even put seizure warnings on my youtube poops anymore because it’s to the point where nobody else does. If you’re looking at videos on YouTube, I figure, sucks as it does, you probably have to have somebody screen videos for you before watching. It’s nice this place actually has the seizure warning feature. This is definitely borderline at least…

America used to be that way. Until a hundred years ago you could only barely understand people in a town 100 kilometers away, and until the last 20 years or so people still had very very thick regional accents. I think the internet and rate at which people travel and move these days is to blame, for better or worse.

Saying there’s only one accent in Britain is like saying there’s only one American accent. At least that’s what British people say, I can never tell.
I think Britain has the most diverse range of accents of anywhere in the world. I mean, most countries have differences in dialect across them, but in Britain we have differences in dialect for each city. Hell, London has a few accents all for itself.
