One of the reasons I enjoyed Equestria Girls despite being kind of bland was that I watched it shortly after watching Double Rainboom.
 
Compared to that, EqG was a fucking masterpiece.

It’s not yet confirmed by Hasbro. By the way, Rainbow Rocks may be instead the title of a planned Japanese-produced spinoff series that depicts the same idea.

See, that’s kind of dumb. Bronies produce such a fucktacularly huge amount of high-quality fan content that you don’t even need to watch the show to get your pony fix.
 
And even so, there are other things that you can do in the meantime. If ponies are the only thing you’re interested in, then maybe you should step back and take a look at what you’re doing with your life.

And those who love this show too much will watch, out of desperate need for new pony.
 
Which will make the massive disappointment or gratification all the stronger.

The last one was one of the reasons Season 3 was shorter, from what I understand. Another one might mean a 13 episode Season 5.

I don’t understand why people get so upset about a spinoff that isn’t even in the show’s main universe.

Yeah and not everything has to be Plan 9 from Outer Space either, but that’s what we got with Equestria Girls. Just my opinion though. I’m not telling anybody what to like and what not to like.

Wait, WHICH girls are back?  
Has Sunset Shimmer replaced Twilight’s role in the other realm?  
Has the human-Twilight of that world met the group and become friends?  
Has Celestia given horse-Twilight another stupid reason to disappear through the mirror?

Equestria Girls isn’t nearly as bad as people make it out to be. Just remind yourself it’s for little girls, get over yourself, and it’s at least mildly enjoyable. Not everything has to be Citizen Kane.

Another film? Meh, bring it on then.

Actually, that description sounds like a better movie than the first.
