@And Brother I Hurt People
oh no! what will I ever do!
someone I dont even know on the internet doesnt like me!
this is the worst. possible. thing!
But I digress. One should never judge a book by it’s cover, but looking at it’s cover will definitely give you a good idea what the contents are going to be.
@AntarcticRainbow
its not a reason not to ecpect it. Its like saying: I do not want attention from Muslims, but i will still draw the prophet Muhammad. Still not cool with the death treats from the other side.
@TexasUberAlles
I dounno, if you dress shoving off flesh you are going to get remarks: Just like how making an unpopular statement will get you attention. It is still no excuse do be down right rude, and i get why having pickup lines thrown in your face all the till will be annoying. Still if you derss in a skimp outfit expect people to look twice.
@Beau Skunky
Dude, with your permission:
You have absolutely no NEED to justify you thoughts or beliefs to such close minded people.
And certainly NOT sharing personal traumas either, much less on the internet.
@Splinter17
Thank you for emphasizing that, at least…
@TexasUberAlles
Nice way to twist my words. I was NOT justifying sexual-harassment (verbal, or otherwise) at all, and I’m totally insulted, and repulsed you’re implying such a thing…
Want to know something? My Mother was raped when she was young, and has trust-issues, because of it. So don’t even try to imply I’m some kinda “rape-apologist,” or something.
I’m not even going to bother defending myself from you anymore, after seeing you try to say that “Finding a Pet” episode was some kinda “sexist metaphor,” I’m now convinced you’re boarderline insane. You just seem to look for trouble, or sexism everywhere, and think all men are out to oppress your gender… (And no, I don’t even want to hear your justifyications, rants, or opinions of why you hold that stance a pony episode. So don’t bother. You already made your opinions quite clear in that other image.)
People like you are what give the feminist movement a bad name, set it back several decades, and why people mock said movement, or why some don’t respect women. People like you, used to make me afraid to even talk to a girl when I was young, afraid of somehow seeming “sexist” if I so much as look at their face. People like you don’t help women’s reputations, or give them more freedom, they just make things worse, and more awkward between the two genders.
What a peach of a human being YOU are…
Don’t even bother responding to me, I won’t even respond. I am absolutely disgusted, and insulted at what you tried to accuse me of. I am through. I’ve had it…
Forget it. If you’re actually going that route with “dressing a certain ways implies sexual whatever” then I really do think your rationale sucks. I’m only talking about people paying attention to you when you cosplay, not expecting fucking sex.
@AntarcticRainbow
indeed, not all people are like that, but they do know that they are intentionally creating an unnecessary risk. It’s ok to like a particular outfit however revealing it may or may not be, but dressing up like a police man when you arent one tends to send false messages. or so my lawyer says…
@TexasUberAlles
More like “if you dress provocatively, you shouldn’t be surprised when you receive attention.” It also applies if a male cosplayer with perfect abs and pecs and tight pants walked around shirtless and received female attention. It doesn’t mean sexual harassment is justified regardless of gender, but assholes are going to be assholes. But you know, it’s not like sexual harassment is looked down upon or illegal or anything.
@Background Pony #BA7D
It’s not at all like that.
Granted, if someone wanted sexual attention, they’d probably dress that way, but not all people who dress in scantily clad ways actually want the attention.
