And now I’m picturing Shining Armor and Cadance as Brad and Janet from the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
This is the mentality that puts lunatics in unscripted peepshows on so many channels.
Yeah, but we don’t expect most real life humans to be worth watching.
Actually, when they do need a small novel, they slam them for that too.
Oddly enough, most real-life human beings have a personality that can be described in one or two sentences.
And yet when a fictional character doesn’t need a small novel to describe how they act, people slam them for it.

I expected more out of them when they appeared in season 3. I have to agree with you that they’re still bland, but I just can’t bring myself to hate/dislike either of them.
inb4 people complaining about it being a wasted episode because Cadance has no characterization.
And that’s kinda the reason I don’t like her or SA, they’re just bland.
Cadence is a “happy pretty princess”, and Shining Armor is a “big strong brother”. They don’t really have anything else to their characters, and it’s rather annoying that they’ve been in like 4 or 5 episodes now and they’re still as bland as when they first appeared.
Yeah. Pity she hasn’t had much development; I kind of like her and Shining Armor. A couple of reasonable ponies in a world full of half-lunatics. :P

And hopefully they can finally give Cadence some meaningful characterization. :\
So long as we get the Weird Al episode, I’m happy either way, especially since this one could go a little more into how close Twilight and Cadence really were back then.

So that may mean that “Three’s a Crowd” isn’t the name of it.
He’s known for joking around but not lying, so it’s likely he is in one just not this one.
