I really love both versions of Sonic Lost World.. I like a Sonic game that gives an actual fair challenge to the players. Sure.. the game is a bit short.. but I find it enjoyable without a doubt.

I can agree with that. On the Wii U version, the red rings are mostly optional, unless you need the circus to get more animals. 5000 to complete the game and 7000 for the very last and optional level.

Apparently the 3DS version is a lot worse, with much more frustrating gimmicks and a Special Stage that can actually make you physically ill because you have to use the 3DS’s gyroscope to navigate it.

I like this game, even if there’s some moments where you ask “What were they thinking?” like there’s 1 level where you have to be a snowball for the entire level (4-2), which is really dumb, I don’t mind the Mach-speed level (2-2), which was done well.

Yeah, ever since the Game Informer Sonic Generations review and the Gamespot Zelda Skyward Sword review (among many others in the past couple years), I’ve learned that professional video game reviewers simply cannot be trusted to provide an objective viewpoint on a game’s quality.
