From what I’ve seen and this episode was probably meant to showcase is that Chum knows and loves shoes. He was about or probably even more happy in the Shoezeum than he was in the Transformers room.
Rick offered the guy $500,000 for everything.
I didn’t see that one, but still transformers>shoes any day of the week in my eyes
But I think I can assume Rick offered the dude two bits for it
Remember the million dollar shoe collection?
I remember that episode. I’m not a Transformer’s fan but I admire that crazy bastard’s collection.
now that you mentioned the Trekkie with the car full of awesome swag, I just remembered the best dude ever with a room full of Transformers, twas like the vaults of El Dorado opening before my eyes…
Chum doing a pretty good impression of my face at that time!
Agreed on not liking Big Hoss. He comes off as a typical jock-douche. “So yer a Trekkie, huh? Must not have a girlfriend.” I roll my eyes at those remarks. (Granted, it’s probably the producers angling that.)
I’d share a beer with The Old Man, because grumpy old bastards like him always have some stories.
Well, I don’t know but if he’s been around the business as long as he has he probably at least knows the general value of various goods and probably has a decent understanding of his job.
I’ve never worked for a pawn shop but I do know that they make a percentage on comish. So, if you want to make a living working at a pawn shop you have to be relatively good at appraisal, at least.
I figured as much, there is a gut feeling when you see someone and know if you like them or not, for example I don’t think I would like Big Hoss all that much, but Chum seems like a truly righteous dude, same with Barry from Storage Wars
Funny thing is he’s actually relatively smart in real life, from what I hear. I don’t know for sure but I guess his “dumbness” is pretty much an act.
well Chum is the most likeable of the lot
It’s alright, it was still glorious.
Look, I’ve got an apple pony I can call in. She knows everything about apples and it makes for some good TV. She’s got a hat and everything. How about I call her in and then we see how much these red deliciouses are really worth?
