@SeraphimDawn You really have to thank the movement’s leader and 2nd lieutenant more than anyone else. The movement would funnily enough probably still be running if pp and cuteo never said anything else after the ball got rolling, but they were just too attention whorse-y to stand on the sidelines and witness the carnage.

The problem is the caricture feminists are louder and more manipultive than the other ones. Eg: THIS COMIC ABOUT HORSES ASSES IS PURE EVIL! Lets all gang up on John Jesco in a way that we would scream about if he was a woman and buy my DWM stuff instead of donating to rape charities!
I mean the DWm movement is really absurd and its rather sad its been able to go on this long.
@Lurks-no-More I would say what you’re experiencing is the same kind of rift as between ‘girls who game’ and ‘girl gamers.’ When someone becomes so invested in a label that it becomes the sole notable thing about them, well, bad things tend to happen.
@kassarc16
No, not every feminist online is like that. Not hardly. But short of you coming over to all the places I frequent (including big nerd sites like RPG.net), I don’t see how I can convince you of this.
@Lurks-no-More
We have not yet begun to bash! Just wait until I bring out my war cudgel. The only way to deal with them is to break their damn heads open and try to replace the empty hole with a bit of book-knowledge! Or if yer lazy just discard the whole carcass.
@Tenafly Viper
It’s because there’s a difference between the definition and the movement. The latter has very few similarities with the former, and yet still tries to defend itself with it.
@Lurks-no-More
There’s a difference between bashing feminism, and bashing those who have no fucking idea what the real meaning of feminism is, and who are perpetuating the negative stereotypes it unfortunately already has.
