I can’t really find any writing problems in TOSOTS. Seems like a fairly realistic take on the subject, considering the involvement of Tirek’s Bag.

I’m gonna divide everything in neat categories.
~~The original is just badly written. However, it came out at the dawn of the fandom ~~ and, like many other bad (like Nyx) and good (like Fallout: Equestria) ideas, it caught on.
-Some of the spinoffs are well-written (well, Sturgeon’s law applies). However:
-A lot of them are absolutely morally repugnant. Chatoyance’s work is the leading example: the conversion is of the forced kind, and is presented as the best possible thing, with Protagonist-Centered Morality out the wazoo. The author’s opinion is that a “higher” being can do anything to a “lower” being and be justified, as it’s the “higher” one. And this is why mentioning Chatoyance in an argument in the fandom can be like mentioning Hitler.
-The other side is the “anti-CB” fics, where the ponies’ shit gets wrecked. The problem is that most of them are written without any coherent thought, being nothing more than quick and dumb revenge-fics. Even though there’s some big ones, like The Other Side of the Spectrum; that one even has something of a following, even though it’s really badly written. It’s like a teenager trying to create a power metal ballad; trying really, really hard to make something awesome (as in, TOO hard). That’s the general problem of the ATCB stories.
-There was one really (REALLY) good Anti-CB story, Not Alone. But the author took it down as he didn’t want to be associated with TCB anymore.
-Middle ground exists. Some stories aren’t offensive and/or stupid, but you have to look hard to find them.
In the original fanfic, humans literally can’t survive in magical environments, which is often blamed on the ponies for no reason in order to falsely compare them to Nazis and justify their genocide.

What I see wrong in “wanting them to survive” is that we are more then capable of taking care of ourselves. If they want to live with us, or trade resources or cultural beliefs, then by all means go right on ahead, but in no means do we need saving. Also why do the ponies need to pick on the human race, why not find another species to annoy.

I don’t recall any indication that the ponies were in any way responsible for that. All they did was offer the humans a way to survive.
Of course it does. But instead of throwing people into gas chambers and ovens they just make the entire planet unlivable instead while saying “I don’t know what went wrong”.
The other problem is that The Conversion Bureau doesn’t involve genocidal invading ponies.
I don’t know about America, i think they would be stunned, but may try to negotiate peace, but with Iran, and Emirates yeah i might see that.
Depends on what country you’re speaking of. If it’s some theocracy like Iran or Emirates or America, I’m pretty sure the first word would be “SATAN” and the second word would be “BOMB” especially if they witness the princesses raising and lowering the sun.
1.) Unicorns aren’t all that powerful, sure they use magic, but to a limit. That includes the unicorn soldiers in the roayl guard.
2.) The pegisi won’t be able to manipulate the weather in our world, since our weather runs itself, and even if they could manipulate our weather, they would have a hard time getting it into position.
3.) CELESTIA IS NOT A GODDESS, i mean sure she is god like, immortal and all that but one well placed shot from any weapon, then that will be the end of it.
4.) The ponies have no idea what the human race is capable of.(Adapt and Overcome.)
5.) The human race is far more superior in technology then the ponies, considering that equestria is in the industrial age, and were somewhat past that.
6.) They will be fighting on our home front, meaning will know the land more better then them.
7.) The amount of humans on the is world is estimated to be 11 billion, and more are being born every day.
8.) When a threat that conserncs every one appears, the other countries will stop fighting each other to deal with the threat.
9.) Celestia, and Luna are not that powerful, when they were young yes, but now not so much. Constantly raising/lowering the sun and moon would take a lot out of them.
10.) Also the elements of harmony would be useless, unless they want to waist recourses covering the entire earth one city at a time.
11.) Also even if they use the elements of harmony, it would be considered as a WMD, meaning we would have to strike back with our own.(But as last resort.)
Now that is all i have to say, this is just laying out simple facts, so don’t take this seriously, and beside’s, I’m sure our leaders would try diplomacy first before war. Thank you, and have a nice day.

Selly is a sun goddes and canonically TA unit armors tended to not react well to heat (that’s why most weapons in the game used plasma or laser tech.
Of course on the other hand TA units were von neuman devices capable of conquering entire worlds single handedly given enough time.

Hmm yeah bu the movie was about the end of war. I like it, it showed that they were adapting since they can genetically evolving each fight while mechs can’t change that much thus they kept losing.
