I realize this picture has been up here for a decade, but I figure’d I’d leave a comment since I first saw it back in 2013. I never interpreted it as it’s meant to be, in terms of the crossover, I didn’t realize it was associated with a game.

I think I found it by accident in a google image search nine years ago when I was looking up “the gypsy bard”, so I always associated it with an older Pinkie from the fiw universe. I didn’t see this as her leaning over an edge but instead just her standing on top of some boxes and looking out at a landscape. Much more serene.

Again, with the whole older Pinkie interpretation, I thought the look on her face kind of says “I’ve seen it all” - not in a sad way, but in a parent-sort-of-way (a good parent, a wise parent). Compared to what she’s been through, there will never be a bad day in her life from now on.
