FFS. Didn’t Lauren say that her original plan was for Twilight to replace her? I seriously doubt that meant she’d stay a unicorn, tasked with the duty of raising the sun, guiding ponies for years, etc.
When the f*ck, at any point outside of fanon & headcanon, was it EVER said that the “Two Alicorns Only” doctrine was true? Yeah, she was surprised when Cadance went from unicorn to alicorn, but I can’t recall her saying it “violated her original vision” or crap like that.
