Thanks for telling me that, mate, but here the thing: I saw ‘party’ and ‘rock’; two words that I associate with Pinkie Pie. That is why I made the joke. I don’t know what party rock is. If it is bad, then it is bad. I’m just a moron writing stuff, okay?

I was making a joke.
Pinkie would have better taste in music than that.
She plays Polka and since she’s the only character shown to own a record player, it’s safe to assume that big band jazz tune that played at Twilight’s party belonged to her too.
Party Rock is Pinkie Pie’s music.
She’s also shown singing to a Beatles parody in the previous issue. I personally take she’s simply well-rounded in music and knows how to mix anything.
Except “Party Rock” :)
Who’s to say she doesn’t mix genres? A good DJ doesn’t stick to only one kind of music.
