@Kanrabat
I’m just reluctant for my first viewing of the movie to be one where several scenes are missing, especially scenes that most people say are quite good.
Sometime, if fun to actually OWN a true copy of a movie in your collection., Beside, the EG movie is pretty cheap. At only 12$ for the DVD and 16$ for the BD, you have no excuses to not buy it. If you LOVE the movie, that is.
@That one guy….
With my crappy internet connection, it’d take probably 8-10 hours to download a decent (aka DVD-quality) copy of the movie. And more often than not, my computer just gives up about 5-6 hours into the download.
Guess I don’t have any other alternative, though; I’m not at a point where I can drop $15-20 on a movie I expect to watch once or twice, tops.
@Sixth
It’s an issue regarding trying to fill the allotted time slot with both the movie and commercial time. Happens all the time with TV broadcasts of movies made for theaters or direct-to-DVD. There’s a reason why the trope “Better on DVD” exists.
@That one guy….
I downloaded the Blu-Ray version.
Spent like an hour fixing my old headphones just so I could watch the damn thing without anyone annoying me about it.
