Yah “cla-clack” is an effect typically used for cycling a pump action shotgun.

Exactly why I was attempting to go over how my side by side operates, I don’t know how well my post worked because I’m pony’ing pretty late at night. :p

No, the problem we’re having is that she pumped a double barrel shotgun.

I came here because of recent use of reaction images, I’m happy to see discussion over the mechanics of how side by side shotguns work…  
because I actually own such a firearm,  
a cheap 12 gauge, Century Arms branded, imported from China…  
there’s a lever that you turn on the top that unlocks the breach and the ejector poorly kicks out any shells in the chamber.  
each barrel has its own chamber and hammer… And trigger also.  
You have to pull back the hammer before you can shoot it.  
Kinda weird shooting something with two triggers but you get used to it after awhile.  
But a double barrel shotgun is just plain cool.
