I think that criticizing art and making art use different skill sets.
 
If i’m shit at doing art, and i look at your art and tell you your art sucks.
 
To analogize it, I dont need to be a physicist to tell you that your theory about gravity doesnt work because it claims that objects repel eachotehr instead of attract, which contradicts visable reality.
 
ultimately it doesn’t matter if i cant write something better then the third hunger games book, the book is observably shit, and the ability to accurately criticize something has a seperate thought process then actualyl creating it.
 
That said i love your art, its just that im sick of artists answering to criticism with “Well lets see you do better” especially when your particualr field requires a lot of manual dexterity.
