Causing loss of control of a flying machine as complex as a helicopter is pretty much the same thing as causing it to crash. And while she didn’t go to confirm the kill, neither did she check up to make sure she hadn’t seriously injured anyone, or worse.
 
And yes, the main cast does have a pretty good track record of breaking things. Still, my point is Gilda’s actions can be easily interpreted in such a way to make her a very violent, abusive and even sociopathic character. She’s a violent bully, both psychologically and physically, a thief and her only interest in RD seemed to hang on RD being “cool”.

Gilda popped a few balloons from Pinkie’s first attempt. Gilda didn’t actually break Pinkie’s Helo contraption, just caused her to lose control.
 
Given that Gilda didn’t try to make sure that Pinkie died in either case, I can’t buy the idea that those were meant to be more than an attempt to get Pinkie to leave.
 
Heck, Fluttershy has caused more damage to Rainbow Dash than Gilda did to Pinkie.

But The smiling pony get it, Gilda did more than making fluttershy cry to make herself her reputation.

It caused Pinkie to crash down from a rather large height. A height much, much greater than that Twilight would’ve fallen from in the pilot episodes, which was considered to be a lethal fall.

Yes but it’s just a cartoon. Obviously they didn’t want to show us that scene as attempted murder. But of course you can imagine that as such. That would make her an interesting obnoxious psychopath.

When? Gilda broke Pinkie’s flying machines, but those were hardly actual attempts at murder. Given the kinds of things that ponies can survive, I’d be hard pressed to consider that stuff worth more than destruction of property, and even that’s probably a bit harsh.

No, that was an accident. Gilda intentionally broke a flying contraption in use by a pony incapable of flight, whereas Derpy and Raindrops dropped several many things, we have to assume, by accident.

Also kids bullying eachother is, sadly, seen as normal; a complete stranger flipping their shit at a clearly distressed and apologetic individual isn’t so much. As well, the jocks seemed “pretty generic”, whereas Gilda’s a griffon and thus stands out more as a target for fanart and fics.

But being hated include having the hate about you bought in a few thread, so they made Fluttershy cry just like Gilda, and even add the rainbow crash to it, but remain obscure background ponies like they did nothing of importance proving that Fluttershy isn’t the measure of evilness.

Get the facts straight first. I hate Chrysalis, and I’m not alone. Admiring her power and cunning is not liking her. Pointing out that the Third Reich had kickass Hugo Boss uniforms; the best jets, rockets, and tanks of their era; and the best-looking (if not actually very good) battleships doesn’t make one a neo-Nazi.

I’m pretty sure the portrayal in fanon of the Cloudsdale jocks is overwhelmingly negative, where it actually exists. Except for those few souls that legit ship one of them with Rainbow Dash. ^{%I’m not one to judge.%}

Individual tastes differ, but in general with this fandom, the cuter a character is (or can become), the more things are let slide.

Actually that makes sense. Gilda Blueblood and Diamond Tiara and Maybe Angel(though Angel hate is less than the others) All were there since the start and get more hate than Flim and Flam and Lightning Dust who did more awful stuff
