I would stare for a moment, try to process what I was seeing, and then finally I would react.
“What’s going on here?” I would ask, the tone of my voice giving away the annoyance I felt at being stuck in the situation. They’d tell me and my response to this would be to bring them inside, give them water and tell them, “When something like this comes your way you’ve got to stand strong and meet it. Get out there, you can turn this situation around and come on top. Go on girls, show the world what you’re made of.”
After leading them away from my property and invest in a gated fence to keep these annoying little twerps off my lawn.
Bring them inside, make them some tea and ask what happened and if I can help. They’re just kids being brats, no need to condemn them forever for the follies of youth.
