MLP G5: Skyros AUAn au where I focus on Opaline, Celestia and Luna’s childhood in Skyros and add onto g5’s alicorn lore with my own. I went for anthro since I really wanted to draw ancient greek fashion but I’ll probably switch between anthro/ponyCelestia, a Celestial Alicorn. Her exemplary magical prowess and her status as a Celestial Alicorn has caused many to expect glorious things from her. And as a starry-eyed teenager, she proudly hopes to exceed their expectations. A intelligent and social pony who hides her quirks in order to appear perfect. Incredibly popular. She holds a bit of contempt for the way Skyros looks down on non-alicorns and hopes to one day meet other ponies outside of Skyros.Luna, a Celestial Alicorn. At this moment Luna is content with her sister taking on all the responsibility and attention from being a Celestial Alicorn. She spends her time playing sports. A easy going and prideful pony who hates to lose.Opaline, a Elemental Alicorn. Fire alicorns are considered great warriors, they have larger, curved horns and bigger wings meant for fighting. Opaline however wants to be known for so much more then just being a pawn in the battlefield. She wants to lead Skyros. But no matter what she does her personality has caused many to avoid and distrust her. Her inferiority complex for being a Fire Alicorn has caused her to believe that the two sisters hate and mock her behind her back. When all they really think of her is that she’s weird.
INFOSKYROS: A city in the sky with a bunch of alicorns disconnected with the plights of earth ponies, unicorns and pegasi. They are pompous isolationists who don’t care for anyone but themselves.Celestial Alicorns: The most powerful type of alicorn of them all. Able to be in tune with the stars and the universe.They have longer lives than other alicorns and thus are trained and expected to be leaders.[Celestia and Luna]Blessed Alicorns: Ponies gifted alicornhood by a unknown force. Though some wise alicorns are able to pinpoint what pony MAY be gifted alicornhood. No one has truly been able to figure out WHY it happens.In Skyros, there’s a fringe belief that these alicorns are prophets and their alicornhood is sign of a new age.Blessed Alicorns have slightly longer lifespan than the avg pony.[Twilight, Sunny and Cadance]Elemental Alicorns: Alicorns in tune with the elements. These alicorns are the most common alicorn in Skyros, they keep the world running and shouldn’t be underestimated. They’re often farmers, artists or warriors.Elemental Alicorns have longer lifespans then a Blessed Alicorn.[Opaline]
I’m mostly Anthro, but I have build in an Idea from the Comics, where Celestia and Starsquirl has visit many other Worlds over the Portal Mirror.
So my own AU work a bit like a Hub World, with several Mirrors in Canterlot, who allow to visit the most of the Worlds, exept dangerous Worlds like Fallout Equestria.

I would say that G5 is a soft reboot because there are certain differences like this from Twilight, but it’s important to remember that the comics are secondary canon so they change to adapt the show they are based on, like it’s already happened with other characters who changed their look later that appeared in the comics first, but about The Last problem it has occurred in this timeline as it is mentioned by Spike in chapter 6
Well, we never have see more of Celestias younger Years as the Book.
But we have seen Woona in S1E2, where she had completly different Colors as later.
Not just her Fur is later darker, her Hair is completly different too.
There her Hair is mostly Pink with parts of Blue.
So it is possible her hair was similar to Lunas, who still had the color from 1000y ago, in a different Color too.
I mean even Twilights Hair has change between S9E25 and the around 30y later S9E26 (I’m not sure if S9E26 is still canon, after Twilights Display in G5, but I still think G5 is an alternate Universe, not the G4 Equestria).

No way yall are still parroting that? That’s fanon. She’s only depicted with a pink mane in the simplistic storybook style. Every other childhood depiction has her with multitoned hair
It’s just headcanon, I know people say it but in the comics but an important detail she had slightly pinker hair but the image of the completely pink hair is edited and fake, and even the flashback proves that it was just a style they chose just for the opening because when appears again in sometimes the hair is green or in TYT they finally put the right colors in paintings of Luna and Celestia
Celestia had pink hair as she was young, like luna who has light blue Hair, both sisters got their Autrora/Star Mane as they got older.
This is also visible in the Intro of the Show.
