You are correct, sir.
I haven’t watched a single episode of anything MLP since FiM ended, and only check here like 2-3 times a month. I’m very glad I did today. Seeing Spike gives me reason to want to invest some time into G5. It’s like the showrunners finally realized that any generation of MLP that has Spike is always better than those that don’t.
It will be interesting to see how he interprets Twilight’s actions. Based on what little I know about G5, he seems to have ample and justified reasons to be pissed.

Lunar Supporter - Helped forge New Lunar Republic's freedom in the face of the Solar Empire's oppressive tyrannical regime (April Fools 2023).

I was hoping he’d be a bit larger and more muscular given his older form at the end of G4. It would be great if smol little Spike grew up to be around as big as Dragon Lord Torch. However, if he’s a lot like grumpy old man Luke in The Last Jedi, not giving a crap anymore after so long, it will more than make up for that.

spike is my favorite character in the entire mlp franchise.
I never cared about a pony in my little pony until misty came along.
he was done dirty all along g4.
i have so much art planned about spike.
an entire comic that i thought about too.
im sick of seeing people who never cared about spike complain about this design like they EVER cared about spike.
just let it flow.
get a grip.
