It’s Indiana Pones, the ponysona of the famous treasure-hunting archaeologist and adventurer, Indiana Jones! Daring Do is Equestria’s greatest treasure hunter and adventurer, but this pony is also well known. This bold archaeologist hates moving boulders and evil plots, but he loves adventures, fortune and glory, and “pony-splaining” the importance of the Late Southern Equestrian Dynasty. He agrees with Daring Do that all artifacts belong in a museum and not in the hooves of a greedy crook or a power-hungry dictator. When we finally get to see Indiana Pones, or maybe it should be Dr. Pones, we find him at the archaeological sight of Rockhoof’s island village, but he accidentally caused a giant boulder to almost crush the expedition. And he definitely didn’t expect a certain apple farmer to buck the boulder out of the sight, saving everypony. He does lead Applejack to a chamber where Rockhoof’s shovel was preserved. It is quite possible he knew the legend was true somehow. Of course, because his human counterpart has dealt with all sorts of supernatural relics, like the Lost Ark, the Sankara stones, the Holy Grail, and the Crystal Skulls, it’s likely this pony adventurer secretly agrees that even Equestria’s legends are not as far-fetched as they seem.

It wasn’t until the season seven finale of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic when we finally got to see a pony Indiana Jones. We all know Daring Do and her adventures are based on him and his movies, but it’s great that we finally get to see a pony version of him. I’ve been considering to make his vector for some years since. However, since Indiana Jones’ latest movie is out, this was definitely the perfect time to make and post this vector. It wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be. And I have a pretty good feeling that we might see some art of him with Daring Do in the near future. Even in Equestria, if adventure has a name… it must be Indiana Pones. And if not, it must be Daring Do.
