Indeed, I live in the LA Metro area - at least living close-ish to the coast grants a sea breeze to help deal with some of the heat, some of the time. Beats what it can be in the valleys or deserts, for sure.
@Just Wayne
Same here, tbh - my aunt used to own a cabin up at Big Bear Lake, so my family would often make the couple hours’ drive up into the mountains to see the snow and stay there for a few days.

I know that Taiwan has mountains (the range effectively divides the country in half, with the majority of the population living on the western side), but I didn’t think they were tall enough for snow to form. That’s quite interesting, honestly.

Where I live it only snows on mountains, and everyone goes up to watch snow. :P
I know that feel… 😢

And then where I am, it never, ever snows, so I just cross my fingers and hope for rain
Lucky, Where I live the first snow usually comes at the end of November so I’m just waiting for it to come :)
Where I live, it has already started snowing. So this drawing fits for the time of year in certain parts of the world.
