idea i’ve been wanting to write into a fanfiction, but i doubt i’d ever.
spike feels excluded and begins to ponder why he often gets left behind, eventually coming to the conclusion that it has to be because he is selfish and greedy. he wants to compensate for what he percieves to be his ‘greedy draconic nature’ by being less self indulgent and more giving. it eventually spirales into an obsession that dictates his worth.
