Discord did some pretty shitty things in the show only to be forgiven. It kinda tripped me out how many would consider him reformed when his actions certainly didn’t support that. Ah, well, it’s just a kid’s show…

I don’t think he’ll ever be punished no matter how badly you want him to. You may have been satisfied if he was turned back to stone, but it would’ve made his fans upset. Discord has done some good things like helping Big Mac’s relationship with Sugar Belle or trying to change for Fluttershy. If he never turns back to stone, you’ll have to accept it and move on. If you can’t do that, too bad.

Look. You’re free to dislike and criticize Discord, but please stop saying he should’ve been turned back to stone. You really need to have respect for people who like Discord and take into account how they would’ve felt if he was turned back to stone. The Mane 6 are very forgiving and he helps them every now and then. He also tried to be better in Discordant Harmony.

Turning him back to stone would just make people who enjoy him upset. You have to take the feelings of Discord fans into account.

Even though Discord’s one of our most loved characters, there’s a lot of problems and bad things about him that makes me wonder if he truly deserved redemption or if he should have been turned back into a statue.

I think he was worse than any other villain of Equestria and did worse to Equestria and the ponies than any of them. Think of it, he ruled Equestria turning it into complete chaos for God knows how long (Likely a long time given how old he is while no other villain ever succeeded in completely taking over Equestria nor caused a lot of suffering to the ponies as long as he has), planning to do the same to the entire world, causing misery suffering and despair to the other ponies which he greatly enjoyed doing so.

And after his redemption, he continues to be as chaotic and mischievous as possible, and always does more harm than good to Equestria. Just about every bad thing that he helped stopped was his fault to begin with. Like he’s responsible for the living apples causing chaos through Ponyville and for Tirek rising to power, bringing back the villains to help prepare Twilight to be ruler willing to risk Equestria.

He’s far from a saint even after his redemption as he was willing to send an innocent mare to another dimension out of jealousy of Fluttershy bringing her to the gala instead of him. And terrorized the school of friendship out of jealousy that Twilight put Starlight in charge instead of him. Didn’t feel too bad about allowing Sombra to enslave Twilight’s family nor guilt of being responsible for the tree of harmonys destruction. And turned the 3 villains including Cozy who was just a kid into stone forever, which is unfair from how he controlled and manipulated them as Grogar for weeks.

He occasionally tricks Twilight and the others into doing something too ridiculous, including taking advantage of Fluttershy’s kindness so he could be free to cause chaos whatever he wants, secretly planting Plunderseeds underground before his first defeat to teach her a lesson about being a proper leader, tricking both her and Cadance into taking care of him by faking his illness to make sure if she’s still his friend, making her friends hanging out with him and excluding her from activities through three-day weekend to teach her a lesson, putting Twilight on pressure so she could send Starlight to his realm so they could be roommates, tricking her and the others into going on a fake friendship mission just to terrorize the School of Friendship and disguised himself as Grogar to create a fake threat to Equestria so she and her friends could defeat the villains and boost up her confidence which backfired.

He betrayed Equestria and his friends to help Tirek rise to power so they could rule Equestria together, allowing him to absorb hundreds of innocent ponies of life force, even Fluttershy and her friends.

And let’s not forget the Grogar reveal which makes hi responsible for every bad thing that happened in season 9 including the castle being destroyed, Windogoes returning and the Mane 6 and Spike almost being killed by the villains.

So tell me because of all the bad things Discord has done both as a villain and hero and the facts that he betrayed Equestria and always does more harm than good, is he really much of a good character or hero, does he deserve redemption, should he have been turned to stone again as punishment?

Then you can just filter it out. We have a good reason for fealing that way after what he did to the trio, after all.

Well, I just don’t like how people who think Discord should’ve been turned back to stone are so insistent that it should have actually happened. It makes me feel like they’re neglecting people who like Discord.
