I wanna post an actual ref for him at some point, but this is the current ruler of Equestria in the Charityverse! I scrapped Scorpius because he was too likeable akjsdfklfadsf so now we’ve got this asshole, King Hightower. He’s the son of the now-deceased King Golden Rule (son of Duke Blueblood and Duchess Zesty Gourmand) and Queen Churchill (daughter of Chancellor Neighsay and Lady Fire Flare).
After Golden Rule was killed by a group of brave creatures who were tired of his tyranny, Equestria thought things would get better– until they found out his wife was pregnant with their son, the future king. Hightower was raised to hate any creatures that weren’t ponies, as his mother told him that non-pony creatures were the ones who killed his father before he was born. There is some truth to that story, but the group who took him down included ponies, too. That group’s members are very secretive about their involvement, but some of them have still been lost since then. They can only hope that another group of young rebels will take over the cause…
