Maybe you’ve heard it before, but I heard a few times from Egyptian documentaries that there was once an Egyptian construction crew who went on strike because they didn’t have enough eyeliner to satisfy their uses.
But then again, the eyeliner was used for a lack of having sunglasses.
I’m just trying to give you more ideas here.

Also a reference I never expected to see here. Not as though Marilyn Monroe movies have exactly “gone off the radar” that far in pop culture, but still.

Other movie actors and actresses aren’t so fortunate, but I still revel in watching random old movies from 1929 thru 1954. A good number are free to watch now since they’re all public domain. I get to see movies with weird unexpected twists this way… And also boring movies, and continuity errors, but that’s part of the fun of it.
Bulldog Drummond’s kinda fun, in an adventurous and ridiculous way with some comedy. ’Specially the 1937 - 1939 movies that went to public domain.
