My O.C. Sirius has been retconned, so this version is from back when the future was 100% different and Sirius’s character was different too. In that old world, the ponies were never divided and magic wasn’t lost, thus, no unicorn was superstitious, all the cities in G4 Equestria are up and running in that one. So in a way, that universe is pure Generation 4 and less than 2 centuries have passed.

In my new Universe, aka the Starverse, time has passed so much that Equestria has changed drastically and the mane 6 are legends, even myths to many of them. Twilight retired a century prior so new royals took her place, but these new royals all had one thing in common, they were not Alicorns. These very ponies were protectors of the three crystals, the Unicorn, Pegasus, and Earth Pony Crystal. The Royals settled into Zephyr Heights and they reigned Equestria. Canterlot was too small at this point, thus, it was viewed as a tourist town. Times have changed so much that ponies weren’t as simple minded as they use to.

Pegasi no longer manually moved the clouds to all of Equestria, but instead, they use weather machine that is stationed in Zephyr Heights and it produces whatever clouds they want to use so that there is a specific weather pattern. So, if rain was desired, the machine would generate rain clouds and the clouds would move on their own, raining at random. Twilight figured a way to get the sun and moon rising on their own without the aid of a pony with unicorn magic and as a result, there’s no need to manually control the days and nights. And no amulet is used for this. Twilight simply did something that caused the planet Equs to rotate on its own. I don’t have much thoughts to this concept.

Agriculture is a big thing for Earth Ponies still, but machinery was the main thing for them now. Unicorns changed very little and preferred the off the grid lifestyle. New cities were founded as times passed. Out with the old pre 20th Century buildings and in with more modernized ones. My new universe is in sync with modern times, but the technology and how it’s used depends on the city and tribe.
