I was in a sad mood (mother recently passed) and I was wondering what would have happened if the sirens couldn’t feed anymore. Regular food doesn’t do anything for them. The sirens are related distantly to the Wendigos and that’s why they feed on emotions.

(Which is not a criticism, mind you! It’s certainly a valid and interesting way to explore that part of the story, and art doesn’t have to be happy. I just can’t personally handle much sads these days)

Along those lines, I’m in the middle of writing a story where things ended badly for the Sirens. Adagio is the last one and intends to make the girls feel bad about what they’d done. She has a change of heart and tells them of her species past and how they got where they were. As she’s fading, she asks them to to not let her species be forgotten because she’s the last one.

Yeah, I loved Rainbow Rocks, but it did strike me that the mane girls didn’t even seem to consider what was going to happen to the sirens once they were defeated. They just treated it as if they’d just disappear. Thinking about that is part of what made me do the comic in the first place… what happens after?
I mean, I took “what happens after” and made it porn, but you get the idea XD
And yeah…I bet they could give a hell of a striptease show, since they are dancers too… ;)

I like how Sonata finally said how she’s been feeling since they lost the full use of their jems. The mane six never took into account (or even knew) what would happen to the sirens without their jems. Had they known, they might have done something different.
At least the sirens found a way to stay alive. Hopefully, they can find a way to make their singing career work out. But as a desperation move, they could sing nude. That would put the audience’s minds where they need them to be.

Exactly. I did have to fiddle with things initially to get the colours right, but after that the software does all of that. It’s less like drawing, and more like ordering actors around a set and taking photos of them, except I made the “actors” :)

I mean I looked at the last scene and went That’s a lot of different shades of Blue.
I think that, once the model’s color is defined, and the light sources in the scene are defined, the blender software handles all the shadows and stuff. So Stellarator doesn’t have to keep track of all the different blues. I’m sure he’ll correct me if I’m wrong (and then I’ll be blue).

Yeah, the world I’m building is kind of a hybrid. It can’t be straight out of Equestria Girls, obviously, because that world doesn’t have god-princesses, and having two alternate Twilights would make no sense. So I’m kind of weaving the two together. I have a pretty good idea of how things went, but I’m not making giant world-building info-dumps without a good story reason, because that is boring and lazy. And trying not to paint myself into a corner.
My main thought about Trixie’s feelings about Twilight are that Trixie found her a somewhat annoyingly good-two-shoes type, but didn’t have any reason to especially dislike her and her friends, beyond them being “the good girls” and Trixie being in a different clique of more “bad girls”.

I’m never quite certain what the canon characters’ history in this series is because it’s neither the Equestria Girls world nor the pony world. I guess it’s mostly Equestria Girls history except thst wings and horns exist and the princesses are, well, princesses.
Trixie’s resentment of Twilight seems to stem only from Rainbow Rocks, not from Boast Busters or Magic Duel, which is probably my mane reasoning for the theory. But I saw a little resentment, so I can still make the following joke.
The blue pone group’s opinions on the princess of friendship:
Trixie: “Fuck Twilight Sparkle.”
Sonata: “Fuck Twilight Sparkle like, super hard!”

I’m glad it came off correctly. It felt like a natural peak of tension to me, when she snapped broke down a little, but I wasn’t sure if it would come off to readers the way I meant it to.
And yeah, I want to hug her too. I kind of feel bad for writing a bad time for her. :(

Dunno about Adagio and Aria but I’d like to see a scene where Sonata sees Twilight, have a heartfelt convo where they literally kiss and make up maybe a little hot fun in the bedroom where Sonata sneakingly sends a text to Smoothie, inviting him to pop over before the two girls share Smoothie in a threeway.
