Who is Granny Smith going to tell? “An adult?” As far as authority figures go, she’s kind of at the top of the list herself.

She wanted Spike to stop rolling them along in a ball, and he did. If you watch the scene, you will notice that she only smiled and left after the pets broke free, NOT when Spike gave her the bribe.

Which raises another question:

Since we saw Apple Bloom and Granny Smith aren’t doing anything (and they never said Big Mac was) why did Spike even need to watch Winnoa at all? I mean, I get they wanted all the pets together, but in that case they shouldn’t have put the rest of the Apple family in to make that plot hole less obvious.
