It’s a fair point. Discord wouldn’t be same without John De Lancie. Admittedly, it would be hard to bury my disappointment if Discord returned in G5 with somebody else’s voice.

Discord is not likely going to return again in G5 mlp because of this.

Chances are still pretty high that John won’t return to voice Discord in G5 mlp so Hasbro probably figured it’d be best to leave Discord dead in G5.

Besides the fans will just get upset later when they hear an different voice actor for Discord in G5 mlp and not John’s from back in fim.
