Is the sister named “Laurie”, by any chance?
He might be telling the truth. When Twi’s family came over for Hearth’s Warming and met him, he did say ‘he and his sister’ moved to Ponyville. They might actually live together and we just don’t know that yet. No name has ever been said and she’s never been shown.
