here’s Yasuhiro, aka Tumbleweed in the MLP AU! I went back and forth about what to do with this guy’s design for ages (use the original pony one I had already drawn? change the colors?) before finally settling on making him a half-pony, half-yak, and adding some yak lore! So let’s hop into it…
 
Tumbleweed’s mother was a young pony nurse helping out in Yakyakistan, where she had a passionate affair with a mysterious yak psychic. After having Tumbleweed, she returned home to Hope’s Creek with her new puffball of a colt…and he began to show signs of rare future-seeing magic! Apparently, having two horns instead of one meant Tumbleweed could conduct twice as much magic, resulting in the powerful gift of pre- and retrocognition.
 
Unfortunately, Tumbleweed isn’t quite bright enough to make much sense of his visions, so the power is kind of wasted on him. That being said, he has a very calming presence and is a great friend, earning him the Element of Peace!
