When making her vector, I had to rely on several references: screencaps from the My Little Pony movie, a screenshot of the Klugetown denizens collection for Gameloft, and from the art of the My Little Pony movie book. The movie screencap provided better details for the face, like the eye and nostrils, while the art book had the perfect model for the rest of the character’s design. The Gameloft screenshot, however, only allowed me to make some minor tweaks here and there, but since the character’s model was so small in the shot I couldn’t be exact with the design. It would’ve really helped if there were better screenshots with her zoomed in enough to trace the outlines correctly. Maybe then I wouldn’t have to improvise.
Of course, I will be discussing about finding better references of Klugetowners later on…

She’s a porcupine.
Never thought of seeing her hair that way, but make sense since both porcupines and beavers are rodents, particularly cavy-like rodents.
