Like, I understand too, and it’s not like I even have any issue with people asking if I will or not, but people throwing shade or like acting like I’m somehow wrong for not drawing her is taking it too far :P

I think that has something to do with Starlight’s history in the fandom. There used to be a time when some people would make a fuss every time Starlight made an appearance for literally a few seconds. (I found that annoying honestly. I think they’re overreacting) She also made less and less appearances in later seasons. Fans are probably afraid she’s getting that treatment again and think she doesn’t deserve that. I don’t know. Starlight is a very different case as she has such a huge impact on the fandom, certainly bigger than the changelings’ appearances and the comics. The fandom also has a habit of extreme reactions to things so it makes sense some people would think you not drawing Starlight is something wrong. Let’s just say there’s a lot of overreactions in both cases. :P

That’s fair, but a lot of folks are weirdly uncomfortable with me not drawing her, and act like I’m somehow in the wrong for not drawing her. Nobody’s ever sent me a PM reading “Why you got such a shit headcanon” like that one guy did for literally anything else I’ve ever come up with, and nobody’s ever cared, much less been actually insulted, that I don’t draw the colorful changelings or anything from the comics for identical reasons. There’s actually a lot of things I don’t draw for the exact same reason, and nobody even notices XD

Well, many people (including me) like Starlight Glimmer. It’s no wonder many would love to see her in weird, cute, or sexy situations like you always make. I also wouldn’t mind seeing Glimmer as some sort of monster pone or object pone but I respect your opinion. Plus you don’t draw Discord much either (literally only once) so it’s at least fair. :P

Most of my pictures deviate from canon anyways. I’m actually amazed that, of all the things I’ve drawn, all the things I’ve done with the show, all the things I’ve decided to do or not do, and all the ways I’ve interpreted canon events or rewrote them or completely disregarded them, that the one thing that seems to genuinely bother people is my decision to not draw a character :P

Dude, relax. First off, it’s not canon that she’s Starlight’s daughter in the first place; her being anyone’s daughter is a headcanon. Second off, even if she was, this image is clearly depicting otherwise: Big Macintosh isn’t gay in canon, but an image depicting him as gay gets tagged as gay because that’s how tags work. It literally doesn’t matter if it’s canon. Third off, there’s like two pictures on this entire site that depict her as being Trixie’s daughter; it’s not a big deal man. Fourthly, you should WANT these images tagged as such so that you can filter them, or at the very least separate them from the headcanon you like. You’re cutting off your nose to spite your face by fighting this, man :/

She also has a house, a roommate, has a decent income, and a pet call duck named Twilight though. Her wagon’s like a camper, basically; makes it easier to go to shows without having to pay exorbitant hotel fees :D  

 
Besides, she’s in a decent place with Sunburst: it’s kind of on-again-off-again since it basically started with a one-night stand on a Cutie Map mission, so they’re less a couple and more like friends with benefits at this point XD
