It may need to be scratched off like how metal is scratched off from lottery tickets, but I’d imagine that they’d be able to accumulate enough raw magic to eventually melt it off, though they’d better be wearing good protection in other areas. Though I have not found the respective clip from the movie that this image references.

Will they be able to get the molten gold off their horns or what?

I figure he has some kind of plan involving gold. Either bankrupting the country by turning it to lead, or destroying their economy by making gold so common that it’s worthless :D

Turning lead into gold would require a nuclear reaction that would cause stray protons and neutrons to go flying. Would he try to destroy all of the gold in Equestria’s Fort Nicks with such device and chain SMILE agent James Brand to it||, with the countdown conveniently stopped when it reads 007||?

Especially when the Joker’s like “The real Batman would never–” and Terry knees him in the nuts again. He just doesn’t care what the Joker thinks XD

It’s great on so many levels. Throughout the series, we see Terry go from dirty street-fighting to clean martial arts, and the movie even has him pull off Bruce’s offhand backhand in the opening fight, something he was previously awed by. And then he wins the final battle, tearing the Joker to shreds mentally in a way Bruce never could, by being himself rather than walking in Bruce’s footsteps. It really feels like the movie is the final crucible for him, and that’s the moment he passes and truly becomes Batman.

That’s basically how Terry Mcginnis defeated the Joker then. I also believe Terry would totally swear if he wasn’t in a cartoon. Superheroes swearing is probably the only thing I’d buy when it comes to superhero realism. :P

She’ll manage to defeat him. He went in ready to face magic users, hence why pretty much his first move was to transmute her horn to solid gold, but what he doesn’t realize is Luster’s skill lies in her pragmatism and her temerity and she’s at best a mediocre magic user :P

She’s the result of an on-again-off-again relationship between Trixie and Sunburst. It’s why her skill lies in her wits and her unwillingness to give up, and why her magic potential is actually mediocre at best. She traveled a lot with her mom before becoming Twilight’s apprentice, so she’s fairly street smart and well-spoken and confident. The only reason she was even Twilight’s apprentice is she managed to score the highest on the School for Gifted Unicorns entrance exam by cheating, an act which impressed Twilight enough to take her on as an apprentice, since it reminded her of the times SHE and her friends managed to solve problems with speech and wit rather than just throwing magic at it :P
 
The problem is though, is by now they’ve drifted apart. She started optimistic but became a lot more cynical and began to question Twilight too much to follow her after learning about some of the more sketchy things Equestria did despite Twilight’s insistence on friendship and doing the right thing, so now she’s more or less on her own. She still believes in doing the right thing though; like, she actually agrees that Cozy was wronged with the whole “take the blame for a false flag operation” thing, but she’s still fighting tooth and nail to stop Caustic Gold because he intends to hurt a lot of ponies :D

He’s pissed they in effect killed his daughter, but he really doesn’t like or love her all that much. He was a piss-poor at best father, and an all around bad person. His negligence and warped sense of gaining power is basically the reason she turned out as rotten and with as little empathy as she did :P

She was about the same. She spent a lot of time on the road with her mom, but was eventually sent to school on her dad’s behest :D

His biggest issue is they used his daughter. He was more or less content to let her sit on her ass in Tartarus because he basically thought it served her right for her boneheaded bid to take over Equestria for no good reason, and he figured he’d let her stew in there for a while before busting her out. It was the whole “use Cozy Glow to stage an attack on Equestria to shill their leader and then let her take all the blame” stunt that they pulled that’s made him decide to shake things up and get some payback :P

She has a real mouth on her. She’s arrogant and mouthy and loves one-liners. It’s actually how she eventually took down Cozy Glow here – by antagonizing her so much she was too angry to concentrate and kept making stupid mistakes, giving Luster the advantage. Also, by fighting dirty :P

I named him Caustic Gold since not only is he an alchemist, but because I wanted him to have the same initials as Cozy Glow :P
