(There are a few explanations fcor those points. The ponies in Equestria have simply evolved to be emotive and to speak, like humans did from apes. As for the mythical creatures in Equestria they have been fused together with magic, or simply to put it, exist in the MLP universe. But magic doesn’t exist on Earth either, and it just isn’t the reality of our world.)
