The swan. Swan icon Swan (2) Icon Swan Icon Swan So beautiful, so graceful,… so belligerent. The only time we got see these waterfowl in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic was in the final season, and they were really tempermental. When we all think of swans, we’re always spellbound by their grace and won by the everlasting love shared between mated pairs (no wonder they were the inspiration for Swan Lake and its animated film adaptation). As a result, we often forget about their aggressive, territorial side, or at least we associate that with domesticated geese. A nice touch for Fluttershy recruit them to place Twilight Sparkle’s new crown on her head during her coronation. :nod: Anyway, I noticed that, judging by the coloration of the bill, that this is a trumpeter swan. The more well-known species is the mute swan with its orange bill. And if you live in Australia, Western Australia to be precise, there are black swans, contradictory to the commonplace white swans all over the world; I wonder if they have those birds in AusTAILia.
 
Now I wasn’t sure about uploading a vector of a swan, especially since I am more interested in submitting animals with an image problem, and swans have had anything but a negative depiction. But then I thought about making a black swan for my Australia Day project, so I did a vector of the species that appeared in the show before working on the Aussie species. However, just as I neared completion I changed the theme of the pic, and the swan was forgotten. Then, since it’s Earth Week, I decided to upload the vector of the canon swan. I’ll see if I can do an Australian themed project featuring the black swans in the near future.
 
The reference I found seems to work, especially with the wings tucked upward. This way if you want to do a project featuring a swan floating in a pond, you got the vector for it, of course you might want to cut out the legs.
