Finish up breakfast and head over to the rainbow meadows.

With the meal over, you exit your house, and follow the road west. The wind blows strongly behind you, and gray clouds roll across the skies above.

Upon arriving at the Rainbow Meadows, you find a young stallion, who approaches timidly.

Young stallion: “Oh… you came. What a relief.”

You ask the young stallion if he is the one who sent the scroll.

Young stallion: “Yes… that… would be me. My name is Windcaller. I… was hoping you could help me with something.”

You tell him that you’re listening.

Windcaller: “Well… it’s embarrassing, really. A few days ago, I… took my father’s sword, and ventured into the Everfree Forest. I meant to search the castle ruins for old musical instruments, but as soon as I made it to the courtyard…

I… don’t know what kind of monster it was, but it was large, and black as night. I turned and ran as fast as I could, but once I made it back here, I realized I had dropped the sword.

My mother won’t let me go back. She… says it isn’t worth the trouble. Not that I’d have the courage to… but… that sword is a family heirloom, and the guilt keeps me awake at night.

I heard you were an adventurer, and I saw you training earlier. You’re strong… both of you. I envy you. Do you… do you think you could help get my father’s sword back? I’d be eternally grateful.”
