People really show their bias when there is only a very select couple of subjects in headcannon that they don’t let slide like everything else.
No other head cannon has to validate itself like if it involves a characters gender or sexuality.
 
Pinkie Pie as a serial killer cannibal saying murder is fun? OK!  
Rarity as a sex addict begging to be abused? That’s so her!  
Any character saying they’re lesbian or trans? REEEEEEEE
 
Conservatives are such delicate little snowflakes and it’s sad how they try to hide their massive insecurities and constant fear behind just being edgy assholes.

Character was originally meant to be male, but script was changed early on as it was considered too much “boys are bad” and also made Snips and Snails fanboying for her make more sense. Everything after that is people doing what people do.
