Fleas don’t even care. Even Fluttershy wouldn’t be able to get rid of them. She’d be like “please stop eating me?” And the fleas would just be like “Pfffh. No. We’re fleas, and fleas don’t give a f–”
I would not be surprised if their common shampoos and suchlike contained anti-tick/flea properties too though.
Maybe they’ll be magical fleas, with their own society and everything?
No, crab lice require the sort of hair they normally live in; that’s why they are notoriously found in that sort of hair and not on other parts of the body. Horses don’t have hairy crotches, and can’t harbor crabs. (Gorillas have adequate hair all over, and our crabs are normal head and body lice to them. Our head lice are chimp lice.)
