So you notice how Sunburst says “do I know you/have we met?” There is a good reason for this. He actually met MOONDANCER before when she was running for city council. When he has visited Starlight at Twi’s home before, Moondancer was never present. So this is his first time seeing her there (Twi’s house) and he recognizes her, but doesn’t remember from where. I found that a very clever and smart piece of world building. Continuity!!! WHO HERE LOVES CONTINUITY? I DO!!!!

He didn’t. The circular glasses are his normal glasses (look at previous episodes). The square ones are his “fancy” glasses that Rarity probably gave him to use.
